The combat is unwhelming and the price might be a smidge high. Altogether a pretty good game. Would like to see a level editor.. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!While YouTubers such as Kubscoutz and Jacksepticeye have covered this game, it is broken. My computer specifications are as follows: i5-4690 cpu, 120gb ssd and 1tb harddrive 64-bit OS and 32gb of ram with a 980gtx and this game runs at an inconsistant and horrible framerate of what looks like 8fps, it's shoddy and choppy. Yes, this is early access, but no that isn't an excuse to not fix this issue.For now I can't recommend the game. While the concept may be good, it's overshadowed dramatically by the fact it runs like crap. Update 11: - Lots of bug fixes- Lowered AK fire rate- Lowered Damage of AI-Added a hammer (weapon) to the home invasion level- Performance improvements on mansion level- Added a temporary fix for jumping on heads in the collector levelJust so everyone knows I am currently working on a level editor, It will be a little while before it is done so I am simultaneously be working on a new level so I can get new content out for everyone. Hopefully I will be able to release it next week then the level editor the week after that. Upcoming Sneak Thief Update: Multiplayer, New Levels, etc: Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well! Since this new update is taking some time I would like to let you all know what I am working on and how much progress has been made. So first things first I leaked info on my twitter about a month ago about "The Final Heist" This will be the final level to Sneak Thief and will be largest and most ambitious level so far. That being said this will not mean that there will be no more updates. I will just be changing my focus from adding single player levels to squashing bugs, adding new multiplayer game modes, competitive maps, new features, and co-op maps. I will also probably still add more smaller levels from time to time because lets face it I enjoy it and if I feel like adding more single player levels I'm going to do it So where am I on the development of this new level? The level is completely designed I just need to adjust AI functionality on the map, optimize the level for performance, and all the other little things.Next is multiplayer. In the next update I will be introducing an overhauled version of multiplayer. This version has no corelation to the current (testing) version of Sneak Thief Co-op. The new version of multiplayer will contain a new Co-op system that will work on single player maps as well as maps specifically built for co-op. The multiplayer system will also contain a new competitive game mode for Sneak Thief on their own respective maps (thieves vs cops). So how close are we to completing this? The new framework for multiplayer is done and I am currently building maps for the competitive mode as well as converting old maps to be used for co-op. So why did we scrap the old system? It was clunky in addition to being built quickly and sloppy.When will all this come out? Early January.Thanks Everyone! Update 28 - Version 0.99 Massive Performance Increases: Without further ado here is version 0.99! Lots of new features and the biggest performan increase for Sneak Thief yet! Keep in mind the data center is still suffering from some performance issues due to needed script optimization opposed to mesh optimization. So basically if you had trouble running the game in the past this update is for you!----------------Whats new?-----------------New LOD system that for some machines will improve performance greatly! Within the editor some levels were tested for their performance increases: Home went from 30fps to 120fps, bank went from 27-29fps to over 90fps consistently, and most of the other levels also have recived this performance bump!-You can now silently break into some windows!-AI path finding improvements-New networking system-Weapon balancing-AI vs Player rebalancing-Frame work for new multiplayer system-Bug fixes-Some crashing issues have been addressedIf anyone runs into any issues please contact me via the fourms or by any other means as this update is very experimental and the faster I find the bugs the faster they get fixed!
